  14. Marcus Groeber, from the German GEOS Users Club (GUC) has at long last updated his 1.x level DOS utility. Now, it will convert 1.x icons for use in the 2.0 environment. Current 1.x users will also be able to convert 2.0 icons "backwards" to the 1.x level.

  16. Users of the previous version will recognize the continuing features for converting icons from PCX (PC Paintbrush) or ICO (Windows Icons), thus giving you access to a huge amount of graphics.

  18. Be sure to read the ASCII-based Docs, ICONMAKE.ENG, before proceeding with conversion.

  20. User of ICONMAKE 1.0 should note the paragraph on creating "Tokens from Geoworks exectuables". It describes how existing icons can be converted for use with Geoworks 2.0.

  22. The batchfile ICONVERT.BAT in this archive transfers entire subdirectories of icons from old (1.x) to new (2.0) format. Usage is:

  26. ICONVERT must be in the current directory for performing this function. The ICON2TO1.BAT batch file converts icons in the opposite direction (i.e. GW 2.0 to 1.x).
